What the program includes
At ASCEND, our goal is to empower and assist individuals to maintain continuous sobriety through technology, support and education. Using our program as part of your sobriety journey, we believe anyone can achieve lasting recovery.
Alcohol Monitoring
If you struggle with alcohol addiction, ASCEND manages and monitors your daily breathalyzer testing. We partner with Soberlink, however you may use alternative breathalyzers. You will have 3 windows per day that you must submit a negative test for alcohol. If you miss a test, your Monitor will contact you and work with you to ensure total compliance. This may require you to take a urine or blood test. ASCEND Monitors will advise you of the best option.
Personal Monitor
When you join ASCEND, you will be assigned a personal Monitor who will get to know your specific needs. Together, you and your Monitor will create a schedule that works for you. You can update your schedule as needed. Your Monitor works with you to set up your testing protocol, choose your lab and get started monitoring. We are here to help you succeed and believe that starts with getting to know you.
Random Drug Testing
Working with our drug testing partner Affinity, you will check-in daily on your phone or computer to see if you have been selected for testing. ASCEND is your designated representative with Affinity and works to ensure you complete all testing and maintain a pristine testing record. Your Monitor is available to help you during any part of this process from scheduling, finding a lab, chain of custody forms, vacation requests and more.
HOME DNA TESTING Verified Urine Drug & Alcohol Testing
Through our partner, U-VERIFY™ Testing, ASCEND offers you an alternative to visiting a traditional lab collection site to complete your urine drug testing requirements. U-VERIFY™ Testing gives you the ability to complete drug testing without human observation from home, work, or vacation without going to a collection site. This service can be used exclusively or in conjunction with traditional lab collection site testing to complete your drug testing requirements.
Reports & Support
Monthly Reports - ASCEND creates professional and detailed reports following your monthly progress. These reports are created using information from our third parties and are secure, accurate, and detailed. Our reports provide a written history of your sobriety.
Support Group - ASCEND provides a weekly online support group for our members. Our support group is not a 12 step program. It is not meant to replace your existing meetings or relapse prevention plan. It is a group of professionals discussing their unique challenges in managing their sobriety, family, and career.
The Process

Schedule your initial consultation and meet with one of our trained professionals to share your unique story and begin building your sobriety success plan.

Meet with your Monitor via Zoom or by phone. Together you create your individualized plan, tailored to your schedule and specific reporting needs.

Sign a minimum one year agreement with ASCEND Sobriety Monitoring. Create your account with us, and with our partners, and set up your testing protocol. Purchase your equipment, and identify to whom your monthly reports will be sent.

Begin daily Check-in to see if your are required to test.
Begin random drug testing (if applicable).
Begin daily breathalyzer tests (if applicable).
Attend weekly support meetings.
ASCEND Monitoring Service Contract
$200.00 every month for 1 year
The Monitoring Fee includes:
A personal Monitor assigned to you with whom you will build a relationship.
Reminders if you have missed a test or need to retest.
Notification if you have tested positive.
Monthly Reports provided to you and whomever you designate.
Access to a weekly online support group and sobriety resources.
Minimum 12-month contract
In order to show a strong and accurate record of your sobriety, each client signs a twelve-month contract with ASCEND, which automatically extends unless canceled. In order to create new habits, including making commitments, planning, and follow through, ASCEND requires you to make this minimum commitment.
