Drug Testing
Working with our partner, Affinity, you will create an account and check in daily on your phone or computer to see if you have been selected for testing. ASCEND is your designated representative with Affinity and works to ensure you complete all testing and maintain a pristine testing record. Your Monitor is available to help you during any part of this process from scheduling, finding a lab, ordering chain of custody forms, approving vacation requests and more. Your Monitor will work with you to accommodate your schedule while still maintaining a random testing protocol.
Through our partner, Soberlink, ASCEND monitors daily breathalyzing for our clients struggling with alcohol addiction. Soberlink offers various products and subscriptions to meet your needs. The sign-up process with Soberlink is easy and will be discussed during your initial consultation. ASCEND oversees your Soberlink testing to ensure compliance. Your Monitor will contact you about any missed or positive tests. If you miss a window or have a false positive, it may be necessary for your Monitor to schedule a urine test right away to prove your sobriety. We are always focused on maintaining a continuous verifiable history of your sobriety.
Alcohol Monitoring
Monthly Reports
ASCEND creates professional and detailed reports detailing your monthly progress. These reports are created using information provided by our third-party partners, Affinity and Soberlink. They are secure, accurate and detailed and provide an excellent written history of your sobriety journey. They can be provided to recipients according to your instructions.
Support Group
ASCEND provides a weekly online support group focused on Relapse Prevention Skills and other helpful sobriety related information. It is not meant to replace your other support groups or recovery programs, but is an additional resource to support you in managing long term sobriety.
Personal Monitors
You will be assigned a Monitor when you join ASCEND. Together, you and your Monitor will set up your schedule for testing and work together to ensure compliance with all testing. With ASCEND, you have the ability to share your testing results with others, such as loved ones, lawyers or work representatives. You and your Monitor can review and update your plan as needed. Our goal is to ensure your testing schedule is do-able for you.
The Process

Click on the link provided to schedule your initial consultation and meet with one of our trained professionals to share your unique story and begin building your sobriety success plan.

Meet with your Monitor via Zoom or by phone. Together you create your individualized plan, tailored to your schedule and specific reporting needs.

Sign a minimum one year agreement with ASCEND Sobriety Monitoring. Create your account with us, and with our partners, and set up your testing protocol. Purchase your equipment, and identify to whom your monthly reports will be sent.

Begin daily Check-in to see if your are required to test.
Begin random drug testing.
Begin daily breathalyzer tests (if applicable).
Attend weekly support meetings.
